Commissioned by the Sioux Falls (SD) Middle School All City Jazz Band and the Sioux Falls Jazz and Blues Society, this chart combines two of themost important styles in jazz -- Latin and swing. Solid ensemble work i n both styles and a swinging as-written or ad lib solo section for anyone are highlights. The chart closes out with a full-band shout followed by a return to the Latin groove.
