The traditional Latin text has been set in a contemporary arrangement byJill Gallina. The harmonies are not difficult, with dissonances present every so often. At some point throughout the piece, each part becomes t he independent focus and when all parts sing together, Jill has created a sound that is full and lush. Because of the multiple voicings, “Sanctus” makes a lovely choice for many age levels and choral situations.
