This exuberant chorus is the final movement from Pergolesi's
Magnificat. The introductory chordal section is in a very slow tempo followed by the allegro section of independent voices resounding the rhythmic melodies. It includes both the original Latin text and optional English words along with an accessible keyboard part provided by Patrick Liebergen. Excellent for teaching the Baroque style! Available: SATB.
