French composer, Louis-Claude Daquin, was a dazzling keyboard virtuoso of the Baroque era. Le Coucou or The Cuckoo was originally a rondo for Harpsichord from Pieces de Clavecin, Suite No.3 composed sometime between 1720 and 1730. The Cuckoo is among the most famous and most played of his works.
