This work is not unlike the Bach/Gounod “Ave Maria” in that it is two works in one. The first is a Christmas lullaby. Then we hear the familiar carol, “Silent Night.” In true polyphonic form, Zaninelli joins the two melodies for a lovely Christmas offering. Great for Christmas concerts, festivals, or worship. Piano or organ accompaniment.
