One of Sevcik's most important pedagogical works is his opus 8 written between 1892 and 1895. This volume of exercises is devoted to changes of position and preparatory studies for scales over three octaves (in 3rds 6ths octaves and 10ths). Our new edition is based essentially on the original print issued in the early 20th century and on sources from Sevcik's posthumous papers.
