After the Concierto de Aranjuez, Fantasía Para un Gentilhombre (Fantasia for a Gentleman) is Joaquin Rodrigo's second most popular work. The four movement work, based on dances by fellow spaniard Gasper Sanz, was composed at the request of Andre Segovia and was premiered by him in 1958. Arranged for flute by James Galway. Grade 7 level.
