This original concert work written by Greg Gilpin was commissioned by the Ohio Music Educator's Association and is energetic and stunning in itsmulti-metered writing. The Latin setting moves from crisp rhythms to le gato sections, unison to homophonic singing. A wide range of dynamics isused throughout and the percussion adds excitement with the syncopated piano accompaniment.
